What is HydroCanna?

HydroCanna.com is a web community of Medical Marijuana Growers, seed breeders, vendors and patients. It’s an incredible resource for anyone looking to be more involved in the Medical Marijuana Movement. Nuggs, the owner of Green Works SD, is the founder of HydroCanna and an experienced grower himself. The site’s forums are a friendly and safe place to share your experience and get tips on how to grow medical marijuana.  Outside of the forums, you’ll find a multitude of other valuable resources including, but not limited to blogs, groups, photo albums, videos, strain libraries, classifieds and a seed shop. In short, HydroCanna is your one-stop-shop for learning or improving your knowledge of marijuana growing and cannabis culture.

 

Why should I join HydroCanna.com?

First off, it’s free. And they even have an Hydrocanna Itunes app and Android app to help you when your on the go. More importantly, the marijuana community is filled with experienced growers who can help you improve your own skills. Let’s provide an example. I’m a MMJ patient here in Southern California who wants to save money by growing my own medication. I have little to no experience growing, but know what I like to smoke. Where do I start and how can HydroCanna help me? I would start in the “Introduce Yourself” forum where I would tell the group a little bit about myself and what types of strains I enjoy. I would immediately begin receiving advice on which strains are good for beginners and where to get seeds or a verified clone. Let’s say I decided to grow from seed. I’d head over to the classified section of HC and pick out some seeds, nutrients and anything else I needed to begin my grow. After receiving the items, I would begin my grow journal and share every step of the process in the forums. I would receive advice from multiple experienced growers helping me through the process. There are forums for sick plants and resources for any other questions I might encounter. HC is like an interactive school for growing and it’s pretty easy to see how it can help new and experienced growers refine their skills and share knowledge.
